Please take a moment to respond
to the devastation in Japan
Thousands of lives have been lost and countless other lives changed forever by the disaster that has struck Japan. In the wake of the magnitude 8.9 earthquake that struck the northeast coast March 11, Japan has faced a tsunami with 30-foot waves, 6.0 magnitude aftershocks, fires, explosions, radiation contamination, and is now on the brink of a nuclear meltdown at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant.
How can you help?
The Presbyterian Church (USA) via the Presbytery Disaster Assistance (PDA) program has been responding to the devastation by contacting presbyteries around the globe to offer support. One way to get involved and help now is to make an immediate donation to the PDA for Disaster Relief–Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Any contribution, large or small, will be greatly appreciated.
